Jung Yun is a Los Angeles based painter and multimedia artist. His paintings explore atmospheric color fields, floating shapes, and thick gestural brushstrokes as windows to an abstract dimension. Developing various planes of iridescence, transparency, and saturation, the different layers form a multidimensional landscape.

Jung Yun’s multimedia paintings explore the contemporary digital language by projecting a video onto a painting. Connecting and disconnecting the physical painting to the digital painting, he creates a physical-digital experience like that of virtual reality.
